Your
Accommodation & Meals
Our rooms
are not big but they are comfortable, they do not offer en-suite
but they all have a wash hand basin, television and are warm
and secure. The shared shower rooms and bathroom have tons
of hot water and the power shower is fine.
With a
large lounge looking out over the jumping paddock there is
always a place to relax, watch others ride while you lay back
with a glass of wine or a coffee. A large shared kitchen where
everyone mucks in to eat whatever they fancy makes you just
feel as if you are at home (but you won't have the washing
up or the cleaning to do) Our normal practice is to provide
a continental breakfast, a snack lunch and everyone goes out
to town for an evening meal and we all pay our own, or sometimes
we just order a meal to be delivered in from a selection of
very good take-a-ways. If you want us to provide an evening
meal we can do and are happy to add in that cost.
Our experience
is that not everyone likes the same standard of accommodation
so we provide for absolutely every taste. Aberdeen's best
five star hotel is no more than a ten minute drive from Hayfield
and it is run by a family who are well aquainted with horses
and the horsey scene. Even nearer we have the Hilton which
is a delightful middle of the range hotel with a health suit
and a choice of restraint or bar meals. And in mid summer
for groups who like self careering, the College halls of residence
are half way between us and town and right on the bus route.
After that there is Bed and breakfast which is fine if you
have your own car or rent one.
If you
need transport we will arrange it and provide anything from
a hotel pickup each day to a private hire cars.
