Pom is a golden
dun 15.1hh Highland cross 1983 mare. The Grand Dame of Hayfield, Pom is
the only horse to be born at Hayfield for forty years. Her mother was
a lovely coloured mare called Minni Ha Ha who surprised John by producing
Pom a few months after she arrived at Hayfield herself.
Pom has done everything over the years. She has show jumped, done western, dressage, cross country, been a polo pony for two years, lived in Shetland and been the star in a period production at Fyvie Castle. An old maid now, these pictures show you how good she was and still is. |
