Zed aka "Zed of Foula" is a skewbald 10hh 1995 registered Shetland Pony gelding who arrived at Hayfield on 29th May 2006. Zed's birthday is on the 30th July!

Zed does walkies mostly and is John's pony who for all the world has no doubt that he is actually a HORSE. Because he is the bosses "horse" he often gets to "go graze the lawn". That's after he has spoken to his pal Jazz (who is 17.2hands) or eaten Stephen's lunch, or tidied up Gonzo's nuts outside his door (Gonzo is a messy eater). Lately he has not been allowed out as he has been eating the flowers in Graces and Alan's garden. Most importantly Zed met HRH the Duchess of Rothesay and next he is to be a TV star on the Internet
